Dr. Jennifer Humm
DMDDr. Jennifer Humm, DMD and Clinical Director
Dr. Jennifer Humm, DMD grew up in Charlotte, NC. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and pursued her dental degree at the Dental College of Georgia and has called the CSRA her home for the last seven years. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the Academy of Laser Dentistry. Dr. Humm is an Invisalign provider and has advanced certifications in Botulinum Toxins & Dermal Fillers, and Implant placement.
Dr. Humm loves her patients and her job! She has volunteered to provide dental care to the underserved through Georgia’s Missions of Mercy and traveled to Haiti on mission trips. In her free time, Dr. Humm enjoys spending time with her family at the lake or exploring any of the local trails in the area.

Dental Hygienist & Practice AdvisorGwen, Dental Hygienist & Practice Advisor
Gwen brings 22 years of dental experience in various duties (including dental assistant, dental hygiene and practice advisor) to Augusta Family Dental. As a dental hygienist, her focus is on providing high quality care to her patients and educating them on how to maintain good oral hygiene. She is committed to making hygiene appointments a comfortable and positive experience by learning about your dental history, listening to your concerns and helping you plan for a healthy future. As practice advisor she always strives to be aware of patient needs, whether it is dental treatment, time concerns or financial arrangements.
Outside of office hours, Gwen enjoys spending time with her family, friends, shopping and traveling. Some of her other interests include crafting and decorating.
Tequila, Practice Manager
Tequila was born in El Paso, Texas and traveled the world before her father retired in Augusta in 1992. In November of 2000, she became a dental assistant. Augusta Family Dental is where she calls home and looks forward to further growth and knowledge of dental health. Tequila loves helping patients build their confidence with their smiles!
Tequila is married with two beautiful daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys eating, shopping, and traveling. She volunteers at her local church and looks forward to traveling the world with
family and friends.

As a dental hygienist, Sara’s focus is on providing high quality care to Augusta Family Dental’s patients and educating them on how to maintain good oral health. She is committed to making hygiene appointments a comfortable and positive experience. Sara is here to learn your dental history, listen to your concerns, and plan for a healthy future. Together, with the dental team, she formulates patient centered hygiene care plans that meet all of your dental needs.
During hygiene visits Sara encourages patients to ask as many questions as possible. This allows her to personalize treatment and enable patients to be involved in their treatment. She also stays current on new technologies, hygiene products, and attends continuing education classes regularly.

Stephanie was born and raised in Augusta GA. She studied Dental Assisting and became a certified dental assistant with expanded duties in 2004. She joined our work family in 2016. Stephanie has truly come to think of her Augusta Family Dental team and their patients as an extended part of her family.
When she’s not at work, Stephanie enjoys preparing wonderful meals and delicious sweet treats for her patients and 11-year-old son, Mason. She also enjoys reading, learning new things, and finding peace in meditation and walks.

Born and raised in the Augusta area, Amy embodies all of the kindness and generosity typical of Southern hospitality. She has been a Patient Coordinator for six years doing insurance verification, treatment plans, and accounts receivable.
Amy and her husband Stephen have three sons and two dogs. When she’s not at work she can be found on the football or baseball field watching and cheering on her very active boys. GO LAKESIDE PANTHERS!
