Your First Visit

Your first visit to a dentist in a while can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be! Knowing what to expect can help calm dental anxiety. Feel free to ask our friendly staff any questions or express any concerns about your visit. We’re here to help you!

Your first visit includes high-resolution digital X-rays, a gentle and thorough cleaning, and a dental exam. If you don’t have insurance coverage, we still want to make dental care affordable and the smile of your dreams attainable. Ask about our financing options to find a plan that meets your needs.

We may ask you how you feel about your smile, so that we can personalize your care and find a treatment care that’s right for you. We value making you an active participant in the process of achieving optimal health. You’ll have plenty of time for questions with our staff and will not be shuffled in-and-out. You’ll get enough face time with the doctor to last a lifetime, or for at least 6 months when we see you for your next regularly scheduled cleaning.

Under 4

Say “Ah!” Little ones under the age of four get to sit in the cozy patient chair and meet the dentist following your appointment.

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentists recommends that every child have an exam when the first tooth erupts, but no later than 12-24 months of age. Early detection and management of oral conditions improves a child’s oral health, general health and well-being. We recommend doing this periodically (during mom or dad’s cleaning) until your child is old enough for their own dental cleaning and exam. Good habits started young can last a lifetime!

Be sure to let our office know we’ll have a little patient when scheduling your appointment.
